Digital design has been my lifelong hobby. When my family got our first computer - an Apple IIgs circa '92 - I spent many hours with The Print Shop creating quarter-fold greeting cards. Later, on a more "sophisticated" Macintosh Performa 5200, I remember making games with a pre-Keynote slideshow application and pixel art in the Clarisworks paint program.
These days I work on an Acer Windows desktop computer in the Adobe Creative Suite. I love creating vector art in Illustrator, and though I've been using it for several years, I find myself learning something new nearly every day. A lot of my work is based on a photograph used as a model. Because I'm a poor photographer, I can eliminate ugly details or composition by turning elements of the photo into an illustration.
On a personal level, I am a proud mother of a beautiful & brilliant daughter, and the lucky wife of a very wonderful husband. I design during naptime and am otherwise a stay-at-home-mom. If I can work on a design for you or create an entirely custom card, please don't hesitate to contact me.
